Cascade Flooring has been formed with the merger of Mike Whale Carpets and Byron Floors giving them a combined trading knowledge of over 45 years.
Mike Whale is a nicf master fitter and has been trading in or near the Newbury area since 1985. Over the years he has competed in various fitting competitions culminating In winning the prestigious title of European Fitter of the Year. Following this award, he was selected to become an Instructor for the Flooring Industry Training Association taking courses at their centres in Nelson and more recently Loughborough. Mike has built up a working relationship with several manufacturers and is employed as a installation consultant providing a helpline for The Alternative Flooring Company.
Byron Copping is a nicf approved fitter with a level 2 NVQ in resilient flooring. He has been in business for 15 years concentrating initially on his domestic customers in and around the Newbury area. He has an excellent reputation for his quality of work with many repeat clients.
In more recent years, a growing proportion of Byron and Mikes work has come from the commercial sector, for which we have provided the same level of service as to our domestic customers.
